Cardinal Noel

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well. After a miserable last week, I think I'm finally back in the "well" column. Up until a couple of days ago, I couldn't even talk...no voice at all. It came out in little squeaks and whispers. I'm sure my husband didn't really mind, lol. But I was a little tired of stomping my foot every time I needed his attention and my birds kept looking at me w/ very puzzled expressions. I can only imagine what was going on in their little parrot heads.

For my card today, I'm using a new image (coming soon!) of the sweet little cardinal and pairing it with the Nativity Noel (minus the nativity scene inside the O). I masked out the nativity when I stamped the Noel and also stamped an extra O. I used a reverse mask and stamped the pine bough inside it. The little cardinal was stamped, colored w/ Copics and fussy cut. After they were attached to the Noel, I added a scallop edge pine green panel behind it, some punched greenery and a few red sequins. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
stamps: Small Cardinal (new! coming soon), Nativity Noel, Pine Bough
paper: white, pine green, little scraps of several shades of green (for the greenery)
ink: Memento tuxedo black
accessories: Copic markers, Spellbinders rectangle & scallop rectangle dies, sequins, branch punch (Martha Stewart)

Not only an awesome idea, but your execution is spot-on! I also love your shading on the letters!

Glad your feeling better - but it might take a while to get the picture of you stomping your foot out of my head :)
