Tree Shaped Sentiment

>> Saturday, October 26, 2013

Have a holly, jolly weekend!  It is time to really get started on Christmas cards, so I thought I would bring you a quick and easy Christmas card today.

Onto a sheet of white cardstock, I brayerd the dye inks of Adirondack Willow, Adirondack Lettuce and Adirondack Pesto.  Then with Versafine Onyx Black, I stamped the new DRS Designs Christmas tree shaped sentiment (1008H) onto the now green cardstock.  I around the sentiment with my detailed scissors.

I tore some white cardstock for the snow and placed it onto kraft cardstock.  I added the tree to my scene, along with a small red bow.  I randomly stamped one snowflake with Brillance Moonlight White from DRS Designs "Snow Background".  I also sponged around the kraft panel with this ink for a frosty look. I added pearls from a Ice White Pearl Pen all around the card and in the center of the snowflakes.

I hope you have a delightful weekend.

Saturday smiles,
Kecia
