Good Witch/Bad Witch

>> Tuesday, September 17, 2013

Hi Everyone,

Have you had a chance to play along in our "That's Unexpected!" challenge yet?  If not, here is another card to inspire you.  I would say that pink is and unconventional color for a Halloween card :)

I couldn't help but think of the two witches from the Wizard of Oz when designing this card.  The bad witch (I can't even remember her name!) was black, and Glenda the good witch was all pink, puffy and sparkly!  I embossed the soon to be released Good Witch/Bad Witch stamp, punched them out and layered them onto a background created with the Splatter Background stamp and the Accent Bats.

Not wanting to forget the sparkle, I added a few rows of gems and pearls!

Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you play in our challenge!

I agree pink is not the first color I think of for Halloween - it's not even in the top 10 :)

Fun card though - and thanks for the Wizard of Oz walk down memory lane!!

How cute and very unexpected! Love the colors and all the bling you added. How funny...they're showing The Wizard of Oz next week at the Imax and I am soooo there!

First I love it! The pink is so unexpected, and goes so well with the good witch bad witch.
