Gingerbread in August!

>> Monday, August 5, 2013

Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by today. I have another Christmas card to share with you that features our adorable Gingerbread boy and matching greeting.

I started with a kraft card base, added a small strip of white CS that was embossed with the CB snowflake folder and a layer of real red CS that was stamped with the swirling snowflakes in VersaMark ink. A red gingham ribbon was added along with a white star button and some red baker's twine. The greeting and Gingerbread boy were both stamped in VersaMark on kraft CS and embossed with detail white embossing powder. The greeting was die cut with a nestie die and layered on white CS. I fussy cut the gingerbread man and popped him up with a foam dot after adding some color to him with my Copics and white gel pen. Hope you like it.

You still have time to join this week's challenge to use diamonds and pearls on your cards. You can see details here.

Until next time,
shelia
