Fishing Rules

>> Sunday, June 2, 2013

Hi all, I have a funny card for you today. I know a lot of you will be heading to the beach soon, and going out on fishing boats, so here is a little inspiration. LOL

For the background, I wanted it to have the look of weathered wood so on gray paper and Memento London Fog and Vicki's Versatile Background stamp. Then I stamped the Fishing Rules and colored it with Copic markers. I fussy cut then layered it onto black card and fussy cut leaving a slight edge showing. The Happy Shark was stamp and colored and fussy cut. The Fishing Pole was stamped and fussy cut. The Fishing Pole and Happy Shark were attached using foam tape. The finished card is 4.25 X 5.50.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

Ahhh! I love this creative card :) Too cute! It reminds me of the movie JAWS. "I think we're gonna need a bigger boat!"

How cute, Janett! Love that happy shark. I can remember people catching sharks (not on purpose) off the piers in the beach town where I grew up. No one wanted to mess w/ the sharks or stingrays, so they usually just cut the line and let them go. Maybe that's why this shark looks so happy, lol.

I'm thinking the shark ate the fisherman and that's why he's so happy!! Fun, fun card Janett!
