What Cancer Cannot Do....

>> Wednesday, May 15, 2013

Welcome!

My card today - while not the happiest of subjects - is something many of us are familiar with.  And if you know someone who is facing this battle, a card of encouragement could go a long way to cheer them up.

I started my card by stamping a small piece of lavender card stock with our Woven Plaid stamp using purple ink.  After trimming to size I sponged more purple along the sides.  Next I stamped more lavender cs with the Small Silhouette Butterfly and purple ink and then attached the plaid on top and covered the seam with lavender cs.

I stamped the Cancer Prayer on ivory cs using purple ink and after stamping off 3 times added the butterfly to the center of the prayer.  All that was left was to sponge all the layers and attach them all together.

Thanks so much for stopping!
Sue
