Cattail Bridge

Happy Friday!
I hope you're having a terrific week! It's warmed up in hurry here. I have no clue how we went from sweatshirts one day to shorts a few days later. Down here we have a General Lee groundhog and like the Punxsutawney Phil, I do believe we have a failure to communicate! This has to have been the longest cool weather Spring we've had in a very long time.

For my card today, I'm using this wonderful Cattail Bridge image. After stamping, I colored it with Copic markers and though it may not make sense, I decided to put a window around it. For the frame in front of the window, I inked a brick embossing folder w/ a combination of sand & gray inks before embossing it. I stamped, colored and cut out a bunch of the Long Tail Cattails and placed them in front of the window. The sentiment was die cut and added on top. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
