Shaker Card

>> Wednesday, September 5, 2012

Hi Everyone,
It's Karin back with another card share, and today it's a shaker card!  I know, yesterday a pocket card and today another technique card.  I'm on a roll!  I feel like when I'm in a rut, a new technique is sure to pull me out of it.
I won't go into massive details on how to make one, because they are spelled out so beautifully at Splitcoaststampers here, but all you need is a piece of acetate and some dimensional tape and you can make this happen too.

DRS Designs released his wonderful Confetti Alert stamp, and that's what gave me the idea for the shaker card.  I punched out a bunch of little flowers for the confetti and put them inside the die cut .  I used a piece a Clear Poly Sheet from DRS Designs for the little window on my card and dies and a punches for the flower and the leaves.

The backgrounds were made using a couple of my favorite stamps, Easy Dot and
Interlocking Flowers.  I added some epoxy stickers and some ribbon and lace for the embellishments.

Thanks for looking and I hope you have a fun & festive day!
