Happy Friday!
I hope your Memorial Day was a great one! And yay for the short work week, right? Seems like from the end of May through the beginning of September we have quite a lot of patriotic holidays. I think next up is Flag Day followed by July 4th. So this image is just in time. Isn't this little Proud Pledge Boy cute? Takes me right back to grade school.

He was colored and cut out. I attached him to a die cut circle that I stamped the words and ring of stars from the God Bless Postage Frame. Behind it is another die cut circle of the Star Wreath. On the Flag of Allegiance, I  used a red and blue marker directly on the stamp before stamping it and cutting it out. The small blue layer was embossed with a star border folder. A little ribbon and some confetti stars complete my 4.25 x 5.50 card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

paper: white, cobalt blue
ink: Ancient Page coal, Memento Danube blue
accessories: Tombow markers, Spellbinders circle dies, Cuttlebug star border embossing folder (from the Measure by Measure set), tiny confetti stars, narrow striped ribbon

This is so fabulously patriotic and so sweet. It reminds me of grade school, too. Saying the Pledge of Allegiance was such a huge part of our day. So many wonderful details....the ef, the little stars, the ribbon and the layout...all great.
