Happy Friday!
For a lot of people, it's almost time for the big day...GRADUATION!! I'm continuing the theme today and in case you missed it, please check out the DRS Thursday Challenge this week because it's all about Graduation and you'll see lots of ideas for the perfect Grad card and you can also enter to win some fabulous images just by linking up your Grad card.

I like making Grad cards because it's so easy to tailor them to the special Graduate by doing them in the school colors. For this one, I used red and a little blue. I inked the vertical ConGRADulations using red and blue markers, alternating the colors, and stamped it multiple times to create the background. I also scored lines in between them, but it may be a little hard to see. The center image was stamped twice, once on white and once on red. I die cut the white one and cut out the mortar board of the red one and attached it on top. I added a red oval and a red layer behind the background and some ribbon across and my 5.50 x 4.25 card was finished.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

paper: white, red

Another terrific graduation creation! I like the dimension, the colors and how you stamped the vertical sentiment....that takes some serious patience...mine would be crooked!

What a fantastic background! And so perfectly done too! I don't want to think about how many times you had to clean your stamp;)

Yes, what these ladies said! The time, the effort, the patience...I'm blown away by the level of detail on this card that looks so clean, but not so simple :)
