CELEBRATE!

>> Wednesday, May 9, 2012

Hi Everyone! Have you joined in on this weeks Challenge yet? It isn't too late, the dead line is this afternoon!! Quick get busy and go play! :) On this card, I used the Brush Mortarboard, Graduation is the beginning and the Graduation Background.

On my second card today, I got in a PURPLE mood!!! I started by stamping the Large Original Plaid, 641P in Wisteria Wonder ink on White Card stock. Layered that card stock on Perfect Plum and Concord Crush Card stock. I then used the Interlocking Star Back ground and stamped in Versamark, sprinkled with White Embossing Powder and heat embossed using the Heat Tool on Plum Card stock. I layered that on Concord Crush Card stock. On white card stock, I stamped the Birthday Candle Address Frame and the Small One Line Happy Birthday in Memento Black ink and colored the image with Copic Markers.  Before adhereing all of the layers together, I wrapped the card with Silver Cord and added Silver Dew Drops on the card to finish it off!

I hope you will join our Challenge this week and that you enjoyed my card! Thank you for stopping by and have a WONDERFUL day!!!

Terrific cards, Chris! Love the bold colors on the grad card w/ that die cut behind the sentiment. Your purple card is so cute! Love the tilted panels.

I didn't start out in a purple mood, but I certainly ended up there! What a fun card! Your grad card is wonderful too - all that red grabbed my attention right off the bat! WTG!!!
