Happy Birthday Daisies!

>> Monday, April 2, 2012

Happy Monday Everyone! Don't you just love daisies? I think they are such fun flowers. Today I want to share a card I made for a friend who's birthday is coming up soon. It uses DRS Designs Basket of Daisies (671L) and Happy Birthday (250B).

This Basket of Daisies is so cute and versatile. You can color the daisies any color you wish! I went with yellow with pale orange centers and then I added some clear stickles for some sparkle. The card base is yellow. I added a white panel after running it through the CB Damask folder. The image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with copics. After cutting the panel in a square, I punched the corners with SU ticket corner punch and layered it on a yellow square that was also punched. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on yellow CS and cut with a Spellbinders Fancy Tag die. A sheer and sparkly yellow bow was added to the top of the basket to finish it off.

Hope you like you.

Until next time,
shelia
