Holly Days

Happy Friday!
Holly Days are almost here! I don't know about you, but I'm actually starting to make some Christmas cards. The last couple of years, I didn't get started until Thanksgiving and that's just cutting things too close. Some of them weren't actually mailed until a day or two after Christmas. One advantage to starting now, I get to try out different designs. I'll find one that's easy to mass produce and the rest of the prototypes (the ones that took a bit more time and effort) will go to those closest to me.

This one didn't take too much time but it did have a little fussy cutting. But I may be a little weird because I like fussy cutting. The front of my 5,5 x 4.25 card was stamped using a combination of the woven plaid and the open plaid stamps. I used red and green markers to ink them. I also used the woven plaid on the scarf of my snowman and the holly leaves. After stamping these, I made a reverse mask and used the woven plaid instead of coloring them in. I made one extra holly and cut it out.
For the sentiment, I die cut it w/ a holiday tag and traced around the same die onto red c/s and hand cut it. The circle behind the snowman was also die cut and the snowman was attached on top. I added a little red stickles to the holly berries.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
