Holiday Penguin

Hi Everyone,

DRS Designs is rolling out some more new stamps.  Woo Hoo!  Nothing like new rubbah to get your mojo flowing!

I have so much stampy-ness (if that's not a word, it should be!) on my card today that I decided to leave the  sentiment off the front.  I suppose I will have to put in inside on this one...lol!

I used the Woven PlaidPolka Dot Background, and Large Original Plaid to make my background papers, and I pierced around the edge of the paper, playing connect the dots to create my faux stitching.  I stamped the Holly Background, colored and cut out 3 leaves and berries for my corner embellishments.

Percy Penguin was colored, cut out and attached to the center of my Oval Design Cut Out, which was also colored to match the red and green theme.

Be sure to visit the new releases page and check out all of the new stamps...Have a great day!

Wow Karin, this is such a great card. I love the background papers you've created and how you colored your oval design. I would never have thought to color it, but I will now!! I really like the look of this card and may be creating one very similar!! :-)

What a fun card, Karin! Love all the festive patterns: the plaid, the stripes, the dots. And the holly in the corners is icing on the cake. Super job!
