Christmas memories for Julie

>> Saturday, October 29, 2011

I am so glad that it is the weekend!  Also, I hope that our snow melts the rest of the way for the trick or treaters come Monday evening.
Big news....my fellow designer Julie aka justwritedesigns on Splitcoaststampers, is our queen for the day.  I made this card in honor of her.  She is one deserving lady and I hope that she is showered with lots of love in the SCS gallery.
For this card I chose DRS Designs new sentiment Lingering Christmas greeting and used only a portion of the sentiment...the entire sentiment is stamped inside.  Also, the pine bough and vicki's versatile background were used here.
Ink colors:  old olive, bravo burgandy, elegant eggplant
Accessories:  button, embroidery thread and dimensionals

Have a lovely weekend and a spooky Halloween!

Pam

Great color combo and design!! I like that you used the sentiment inside the card and just a portion of it outside. I'm gonna have to try that!
