Hot Diggety!

Happy, hot diggety it's Friday!
I hope your week has gone well. Has it been hot, hot, hot where you live? Most of the country has just been scorching! As a native Texan, right now I'm just a little glad I'm nowhere near my home state. The whole state is just a super heated oven! It's crazy when it's hotter in Dallas than it is in Phoenix.

So my birthday card today has Hot in the title but this guy has the right idea. He's definitely wearing a Hawaiian shirt and I think he's heading for the beach. To make his shirt and one of the backgrounds, I used water colors and a water brush to make a multi color background and I stamped the flowers on top when it dried. I stamped the shirt only on top and cut it out to piece on top of the base image. For his jeans, I used the woven plaid image and blue ink on blue c/s.

I did a little out of the box for the base image and split the sentiment to fit on top and bottom. I used the old age background on the front of my 4.25 x 5.5 white card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
