Leafy Note

Happy Friday!
I hope y'all have been leaving comments every day so you'll be in the drawing. We still have a lot of stamps to give away and you don't want to miss out.

Today's winner is: terriavidreader
Congrats! The stamp you've won is this wonderful Background Branch!
To claim your prize, just send us an email: info@drsdesigns.com

This is such a versatile image; great for backgrounds but also as a focal point. I thought it would go really well with this leaf embossing folder and I'm glad to say it does. I stamped the branch twice, masked the overlapping leaves, stamped the polka dots in different colors and cut them out. I stamped the dots again on the die cut button in the upper right.

A punched lt green band was layered onto a darker green strip and attached across the bottom. The sentiment is on a die cut rectangle. The finished card measures 4.25 x 5.5.

Thanks so much for stopping by and good luck to you!

Supplies:
Stamps:Background Branch, Polka Dot Background, Just a Note
Paper: white, lt green, emerald green
Ink: Ancient Page coal, various colors chalk inks
Accessories: Quickutz rectangle die, EK Success border punch, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Sizzix button die

Wow! Another great card. I just used the polka dot daisy on some scrap layering paper that gave the same idea. I love the dry embossing background. This is a keeper.
