Thinking of You Daisy

>> Sunday, May 29, 2011

Welcome!

Unfortunately I was in need of a sympathy card this week, but I ended up very pleased with not only how this card came out, but how fast it all came together.

My original idea was to use the darker mauve as my folded card and as I was cutting the paper down I ended up with a strip slightly larger than 1" and it all just fell into place from there.

After stamping our Medium Daisy with black dye ink, I "colored" them using a white gel pen.

After adhering the strip to my card I stamped our Vertical Thinking of You using black ink and then added lavender pearl paint to the center of the flowers (the pearl paint eventually got a little smashed, but I kinda like it :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a wonderful Memorial Day!

What an awesome coming together! I can't ever get a gel pen to work. What kind are you using? I need to get one! The gel pen is jus fabulous on this neat card.
