Enjoy Today

>> Tuesday, May 17, 2011

Hi Everyone,

It's Karin posting today and I used one of my favorite color combos (red, yellow, orange) for today's sunny card.

I was playing around with the Polka Dot Background stamp and chose to make these rosettes.  I cut 2 1"x11" stripes of paper in each color and stamped them with polka dots.  I then scored them in 1/2" increments, glued them together, and embellished them with a white button.  The background was stamped in Versamark and embossed with clear powder. The Enjoy Today sentiment was stamped and layered in matching colors to echo the three rosettes.  The finished card measures 5 1/2"x5 1/2".

Here is a closer look at all those polka dots...

Just click here to see all the newest stamps and I hope you remember to enjoy the day.  Oh, and one last thing!
