Not every Valentine has to be red!

>> Sunday, January 30, 2011

Welcome!

I decided to walk on the wild side and went a different color route with this Valentine!

I stamped most of a black piece of cs with our Interlocking Stars using gold pigment ink an embossed them using gold powder. The ribbon was a scrap that came wrapped on ??? and I folded it in 3rds to give it lots of pop! I stamped the top 2 lines only of our new To the Moon stamp (again using gold ink and gold ep) and finished off the outside by punching out a silver circle, then putting the circle back into the same punch and punching it in half to give me the quarter moon shape.

For the inside I stamped a white piece of cs across the top using the same Interlocking Star bg and blue ink and colored in a few using a gold paint pen and a few using a silver paint pen. To finish it off I stamped the last line of our new To the Moon saying and added the exclamation point using a gold paint pen.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
