Halloween Spirits!

>> Tuesday, October 26, 2010

Are you as shocked as I am that it's Halloween week already?!?!? I just can't get over how quickly time flies! At any rate, I have a cute Halloween card to share with you today. I think I'm in love with Spencer the Not So Spooky Ghost (D408) and his friend, the Small Ghost (C191). I also used the Spirit of Halloween Greeting (F389). I've used all 3 of these stamps quite a bit this year.

This card was rather quick and easy to make. The hardest, most involved part was all of the masking I did to create the "flying spirits!" After masking them I colored in the empty spaces with a black Copic marker to create my focal image. I split up the sentiment into 2 pieces and stamped each piece above and below the image as shown.

I love the look of the spider web border punch against the lime green cardstock. I dressed it up a bit by adding some rhinestones to the center of each web. I adhered the card front to a black cardstock base and then added a simple bow made from black grosgrain ribbon. This is definitely not one of my scariest Halloween cards, but it could be one of my cutest!

Hope you all have a very safe and Happy Halloween!

Smiles,
Jennifer
