Welcome!

Let me start right off by announcing the winner of yesterdays~

A big congrats (and a Happy Birthday!) goes out to #15 Vicki S. who's won the Frog on a Log that I used here today. Yeah!
(Don't forget to contact us (info@drsdesigns.com) with your name and address info within 7 days so we can send your prize!)

Want a chance to win too? Simply leave a comment on this post, cross your fingers and check back tomorrow to see if your name was randomly drawn. For all the rules click here

My card for today is a little unusual for me (I think so anyway!!) The main difference is that it's a more subtle card than I'm used too

I started my card by stamping one corner of our Four Corner Butterfly stamp (M385) using Vivid dye inks in Spring Green, Green, and Vintage Green. I went a little light in the center and heavier on the edges. Next I dry rubbed spring green around the outside and turquoise dye ink in the center.

Next I stamped our Frog on a Log (H252) on a separate piece of white card stock and colored him using markers, then cut him out. I also stamped his face a second time and just cut out his eyes. I adhered the frog to the center of my background then cut a piece of vellum slightly smaller, and stamped more "reeds" across the bottom again in my 3 green colors. I used vellum tape around the edges and attached it to the center and then used double stick tape to attach the separate eyes on top. I adhered all of it onto a folded black card.

I stamped the Eyes for You greeting (D092) on white and dry rubbed a little green ink on top and after trimming I layered it on black card stock and attached it too.

Thanks for stopping by and good luck!!
