The Giveaway Continues...

>> Saturday, June 5, 2010

Hurray! I am pleased to announce the winner of yesterday's Stamp a Day Giveaway is...
Joan N!!!
Congratulations!
Remember to contact us at info@drsdesigns.com with your name and address information within the next 7 days.

What stamp have you won? It's SpaceBoy Skip (H285) and I'm thrilled to make him the focal point on my card today...Isn't he adorable?

I just love using primary colors when making cards for boys. After coloring this cute little guy, I used Stickles to add some sparkle to the outer limit effects around him. I created the background on the yellow base by using the Swag and Dot 2.5" Mega Circle stamp(H019) in a nontraditional way to create some texture and the Dot Ribbon Edger (P083) border stamp along the side. I finished it off with 5 buttons and the Out of this World Birthday Greeting (F267) which I cut into separate pieces before adhering it to the card. Lastly, I added some Glossy Effects to the window and face plate of Skip's Helmet to simulate glass.

Would you like to win a stamp just as great as SpaceBoy Skip? Then leave a comment on this post, and check back tomorrow to see if you won the showcased stamp of the day!

Finally, I'm pleased to say that DRS Designs is sponsoring the Wet/Dry Embossing Challenge at Caardvarks this month! If you want a chance at winning some DRS Designs stamps, link up your embossed project at The Caardvarks Challenge Blog!

Thanks for visiting and remember to comment if you want to win!
