by Julie Warner - The Write Stuff

A big congrats goes out to
#61 Tink
who's won the Bloomin' Huge Flower that I used here today.

(Don't forget to contact us (info@drsdesigns.com) with your name and address info within 7 days so we can send your prize!)

Want a chance to win too? Simply leave a comment on this post and check back tomorrow to see if your name was randomly drawn. For all the rules click here

I love this big bloom! So much that I used it all over the card. As the focal point and as the background. For the background, it's simply stamped randomly in black, masking where needed. For the focal point, I stamped two in black, colored with markers then added streaks with a VersaMark pen and sprinkled on some transparent glitter embossing powder. I cut the two out, curled the edges a bit and layered them on top of each other. For the sentiment, I split it up and made it an innie/outie as you can see. The Get Well Soon part (the final line of the image) is stamped on the inside.

This is just a closeup of the bloom. I added a rose pink layer and everything's attached to a 5.5 x 4.25 (A2) white card. The sentiment and backing layer were cut with dies.

Be sure to leave a comment so your name will be in the hat to be drawn for tomorrow's image!
