Winter Eve

by Julie Warner - The Write Stuff

The forecast for Atlanta calls for a chance of snow! We don't get a lot of snow here, so it's a big deal to us. So this is what I'm hoping my Winter Eve will look like. Isn't this a great image? I love scenes so this Sneak Peek is right up my alley.

I knew I wanted a circular frame and a little bit of the out-of-the-box treatment, so I figured out where my image needed to be and stamped the soon to be released Tree with Snow (M144), masking off the fence portion. I kept the circle frame mask on, added a smaller circle mask for the moon and sponged on the sky colors.

I used the blank embossing technique to emboss the flurries pattern on the side and leave the image area smooth. I used a circle die set to cut the pink frame and a template to cut the blue frame. I added the cut out portion of the fence on top. Stickles was added to the snow and a die cut sentiment finished it off.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy New Year!
