Welcome! As I was thinking about what I wanted to stamp today I realized I was really in the mood for some fall. I love the autumn colors and the crunch of fallen leaves - which I heard today as we went to the mailbox!!

It's so easy to jump right into Christmas, so I "forced" myself to check out my fall and Thanksgiving stamps. Then I realized that I've only been thinking Christmas for our Card Drive and I got right to work :)

Here's what I came up with ~

For anyone who's new to my stamping style, FYI I use the words quick and easy alot!!! Today is no different.

I started by stamping some ivory card stock using our small silhouette leaf (C691) stamp and a Vivid rainbow pad aptly named "Autumn Leaves" making sure I left a 1" strip of blank paper.

Next, I stamped our larger silhouette leaf (D701) over the entire card using Memories Soft Leaf ink. Then, I cut a piece of ribbon to fit across the front and since all I had handy was light pink, I used my tombo markers to color it golden yellow, and then I attached it to my card. I layered this on sage green cardstock. My background was now complete!!!

For the sentiment I stamped our "Thankful for little things" stamp (H071) on ivory cardstock using Vivid brown ink and stamped the larger silhouette stamp in the lower right corner. I distressed the edges and rubbed them on my Soft Leaf stamp pad, then layered it on some chocolate brown cardstock.

All that was left was to attach it all to a folded chocolate brown card, which I did :)

Quick and easy!!

Thanks for stopping by!

What a beautiful fall card! Love the leaves and colors. The sentiment stamped over the leaf shadow is really super.
