posted by Cathy/Crafty Thoughts...

to start thinking about that special time of year...cleaning the house, pulling out the old decorations...wouldn't you like to decorate with some new ones? How about an idea for a quick and simple ornament?

All you need is a blank coaster, a circle cutter, some cardstock, some ribbon, sparkles and markers!

Simply cut circles for the front and back of your coaster, adhere. Stamp snowman (L001) twice (so you can add dimension), color and cut out. Here is a close up of the dimension...

Add some sparkles, a punched tree line (or anything else you would like), punch a hole in the top, add some ribbon and voila! You now have a new handmade ornament to hang on your tree, give to a friend...makes a simple and quick hostess or teacher gift too. This newly released snowman was perfect. I used a Fiskars border punch for the tree line. The background was stamped with the medium filigree snowflake (H1123) using a glue pad and then sprinkling some dazzling diamonds over the stamped image.

The Merry Christmas (B1014)sentiment fit perfectly in some new punches I found at Michaels the other day!

Thanks for checking in...
See you soon...
