Can you believe Mother's Day is next weekend?! Oh my gosh! Have you purchased or better yet made a gift yet? Well, here is a quick idea for you...you can even make multiples for your Monster in-law...I'm mean Mother in-law! (tee hee)

If you visited my blog (Crafty Thoughts) on Friday, you may have seen this card already. It was actually my inspiration for the project that follows...

I just love this flower border (H1076) and it is so easy to color. The sentiment (F057) is another pretty one that DRS is famous for!

Here is the complete set...

and a shot of just the package...

I used an embellishment package that I put in my alterable (eventually) stash. It was the perfect size for the stamps I wanted to use and the inside treat! As you can see I used the same border image. I added a new sentiment (D887) and used the giga scallop oval image (K307) to frame it. I stamped three of the single flower image (C1065)that matches the border and adhered them around the frame. All the flowers have jewels in the center. To make the sleeve, I simply cut the green piece longer than the length of the box and scored based on the box measurements. The sentiment portion is flat on the inside back of the box and the flower border is flush with the front...there are candies behind the folded front portion as well.

Some ribbon, a punched border and of course some candy finished things off!

Be sure to stop back here tomorrow for a new DT challenge...remember, we would love to have you join in on our challenges!! Also, a reminder that the new releases are now available for purchase! Don't miss out!!!

See you soon...

Beautiful card and I really like how you altered the plastic sleeve. I, too, have a stash of 'alterables' because you just never know when they will come in handy!
